IELTS Preparation Course
Actionofferquest takes you from nervous test-taker to confident scorer. Fourteen-week intensive program, five practice tests under real exam timing, and a tutor who actually reads your writing tasks line by line.
Where our IELTS students land
Built around the four skills that decide your band
Most students lose marks on writing and speaking, not listening. We split the week so you get two full workshops on task response and coherence, one on speaking fluency, and one on reading under pressure.
You will sit five timed mock tests on our Robina campus, each marked by a tutor who holds a current IELTS examiner certificate. Between tests you get a written band report showing exactly where marks disappeared.
- Examiner-certified tutors on every writing task
- Five full mock tests under exam conditions
- Weekly one-to-one feedback sessions of 45 minutes
- Small groups capped at eight candidates
What fourteen weeks of IELTS training actually delivers
Numbers from our last two intakes, tracked from day one to results day.
Writing under the clock
Two evenings a week you write Task 1 and Task 2 in exam time. Your tutor marks for task response, cohesion, vocabulary and grammar, then you rewrite the same response with corrections.
Speaking with strangers
We run speaking drills with unfamiliar partners because that is what the real room feels like. Recordings go home with you so you can hear your own hesitation patterns.
Reading at speed
Passages come from real academic journals, and you learn to skim, scan and tag evidence without finishing every sentence. Most students add half a band here within a month.

From first assessment to results day
Six stages, in order, with clear checkpoints so you always know where you stand.
Free placement assessment
You sit a condensed reading, listening and writing sample. We score it against the public band descriptors and give you an honest starting band in writing.
Goal and university mapping
We note your target band, application deadline and, if relevant, the score your university wants in each skill. The plan changes depending on which skill is furthest from goal.
Skill plan on paper
You leave with a written timetable covering all fourteen weeks, showing which sessions are workshops, which are mocks, and which are your one-to-one slots.
Weekly workshops and drills
You attend three sessions a week across writing, speaking and reading. Each workshop ends with a short task you submit the same evening.
Mock tests and band tracking
Every third week is a mock test under exam timing. Reports compare your last three attempts so you can see whether a skill is plateauing or moving.
Final review and test booking
In the last week we hold a full review of your writing patterns and rehearse the speaking format once more. If you are ready, we help you book the actual test date.
What a training week looks like
Photographs from the current cohort on the Robina campus.
Tuesday evening: eight candidates write Task 2 in forty minutes while the tutor marks live and flags common coherence problems.
Thursday slot pairs two students who have not worked together. A recorder captures both answers for playback later.
Saturday mocks start at 9 am sharp. No phones, no notes, and no breaks beyond the three-minute interval between tasks.
Each mock comes back with a written band on every criterion and one specific sentence about what to fix next.
Passages are drawn from current academic journals so you recognise the tone of the real reading section.
The Monday group never exceeds eight. Once the cap is hit, we open a waiting list rather than add a ninth chair.
