What this policy covers
Actionofferquest collects personal information from students, applicants, employers and website visitors. This policy explains what we collect, why we need it, who else sees it and what you can ask us to do with it.
It applies to our campus at 14 University Drive, Robina QLD 4226, our online learner portal and this website. If you are applying through an employer, some information also reaches the person who nominated you, and we explain that in the sections below.
Personal information we collect
We only ask for what we need to run a course, meet our registration duties or answer your question. Typical records include:
- Your name, date of birth, postal address, email and phone number
- Course preferences, enrolment forms and payment records
- Assessment submissions, attendance records and marked feedback
- Records of conversations you have with our student services team
- Website data such as pages visited, session length and the device you used
- Any information you volunteer in a form, for example your target band or current workplace
We do not ask for sensitive information such as health details, religious beliefs or political opinions unless a specific course requires a declaration, and even then you can discuss the request with us first.
How we use your information
We use your information to assess your application, place you in the right class, deliver teaching, mark assessments and issue your certificate. We also use it to send you reminders about workshops, mock tests and fee due dates, and to respond when you contact us.
With your consent, we send occasional updates about new intakes and short courses. You can unsubscribe from those at any time by replying to the email or calling the office. Marketing consent is separate from enrolment, so opting out never affects your place on a course.
Who we share your information with
We share only what is necessary with tutors, examiners, our accountant, our IT provider and, where relevant, the awarding body that issues your qualification. All of these parties are bound by written confidentiality and privacy obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it to a government agency only when the law compels us to, for example in a lawful subpoena or a regulatory audit of student records.
How long we keep records
Enrolment and assessment records are kept for seven years after you finish the course, because regulators require that audit trail. Marketing preferences are kept until you withdraw consent. Website analytics are retained for twenty-six months.
When a retention period ends, we destroy the records securely or remove the identifying details so the leftover data can no longer be linked to you.
Your rights and how to contact us

If you believe we have handled your information badly, contact us first so we can look into it. You can also raise the matter with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
